Presenters from Ryan Health discuss how health centers can institute a daily morning Operations and Safety Briefing to review the past day’s incidents and discuss any issue that need to be addressed in the coming workday. Following the Cleveland Clinic’s principles on becoming a High Reliability Organization, this presentation discusses how safety huddles can instill values of dependability and accountability by building teamwork through communication and cooperative problem solving, ensuring common understanding of focus and priorities, and increasing situational awareness among health center staff.
