The CHCANYS Emergency Management (EM) Program provides New York's community health centers with training opportunities, technical assistance, and resources to increase their ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from an emergency or disaster. Our EM Team works with public health partners to promote collaboration and community integration, ensuring that community health centers are represented in statewide, regional, and local planning and response. In NYC, our team leads the Primary Care Emergency Preparedness Network (PCEPN), representing the primary care sector among the larger NYC health care community and local government agencies in an ongoing effort to enhance health system preparedness.
