Alexander Lipovtsev

Director, Emergency Management Program

Alexander joined CHCANYS in September 2015. In his position as Assistant Director of the Emergency Management Program, Alexander is responsible for the development and implementation of CHCANYS’s federal, state, city and privately funded EM projects.  He provides training / technical assistance to health centers to prepare for; mitigate effects from, and provide services to their patients and communities before, during and after a disaster or emergency situation.

Alexander comes with more than ten years of experience working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), including practice management and direct patient care in a Patient-Centered Medical Home setting.   Additionally, he has designed, developed and implemented various managed care programs at the state and federal levels.

Alexander holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Administration from Hunter College, New York and an active clinical license (LCSW) from New York State.
