NY State of Health – Two Weeks Later
In the two weeks since the launch of NY State of Health, over 40,000 people have successfully enrolled in health insurance plans via the marketplace – more than in any other state thus far. Approximately 500 in-person Assistors/Navigators have been trained and are providing high-quality enrollment assistance in all counties, in a total of 48 languages. read more >> 

New NACHC Video Helps Health Center Patients Understand Affordable Care Act
NACHC has released a new video designed to assist health centers with educating their patient populations about coverage options under Medicaid, or purchasing a private insurance policy in the online Health Insurance Marketplace. The video is designed as a simple, informational tool to show in health center waiting rooms or any place else where it is useful to explain how the Affordable Care Act can help the uninsured. read more >>

CHCANYS Statewide Conference 2013: Policy Highlights
This year’s conference, scheduled for October 27-29 in Saratoga Springs, will feature a number of sessions geared toward health center policy staff, including: a workshop on Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and the risks and opportunities that they present for health centers; a Regulatory and Reimbursement “Mega Session,”

Population Health Summit: Making New York the Healthiest State - Achieving the Triple Aim
New York State Health Commissioner, Nirav R. Shah, M.D., M.P.H. will convene a population health summit on December 3, 2013 to bring together state and national leaders to learn about the role public health and other sectors play in improving population health.
