Sonia joins CHCANYS with approximately 10 years of experience in quality/performance improvement and program management in both the hospital and FQHC settings. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Clinical Quality Improvement. Her skills, among many others, include conducting qualitative research, building data collection strategies and systems for low-resource settings, teaching and serving as a content expert on quality analytics and improvement activities. She holds a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Healthcare Management & Policy from Columbia University and is certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Her interests are to ensure that vulnerable populations benefit from optimal healthcare systems.
