3RNet
3RNet works to improve rural and underserved communities' access to quality health care through recruitment of physicians and other health care professionals, development of community based recruitment and retention activities, and national advocacy relative to rural and underserved health care workforce issues.

AHECS
Founded in 1998, the New York State Area Health Education Center (NYS AHEC) System is a state and federally funded workforce development initiative. The mission is to increase the diversity of qualified healthcare professionals by recruiting and training individuals of all races and ethnicities, with a special emphasis on medically underserved areas in both rural and urban communities. Association for Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU)
Association for Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is a transdisciplinary organization of clinicians, advocates and healthcare organizations that provide health care for the underserved. Their programs include professional education, clinical tools, advocacy, patient education, training and technical assistance.  

The ACU has received a national cooperative agreement from the Bureau of Primary Health Care to create a training and technical assistance center around clinician recruitment and retention issues at community health centers. The STAR² Center (Solutions, Training, and Assistance for Recruitment and Retention) will provide resources, regional training, and individualized technical assistance about clinician workforce issues to the health centers of highest need. Click here for more information on the STAR² Center. 

Center for Health Workforce Studies
The Center for Health Workforce Studies is a not-for-profit research organization whose mission is to provide timely, accurate data and conduct policy-relevant research about the health workforce. The Center’s work assists health, professional, and education organizations; policy makers and planners; and other stakeholders to understand issues related to the supply, demand, distribution, and use of health workers

Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC Inc./Weitzman Institute). 
A HRSA National Cooperative Agreement Organization that provides Technical Assistance and training to expand health centers’ strategies to recruit, develop, and retain clinical workforce. Webinars and learning collaboratives are offered on implementing post-graduate nurse practitioner and clinical psychology residencies at health centers and advancing the team-based care model. 

HRSA BHW
The Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) improves the health of underserved and vulnerable populations by strengthening the health workforce and connecting skilled professionals to communities in need. 

  • National Center for Health Workforce Analysis
    The National Center for Health Workforce Analysis’ mission is to support more informed public and private sector decision making related to health workforce through expanded and improved health workforce data, projections and information.
  • Health Workforce Connector
    A HRSA-sponsored recruitment tool. An online site for connecting National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corps candidates with job openings.

HPSA Data Find
Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) are designated by HRSA as having shortages of primary care, dental care, or mental health providers and may be geographic (a county or service area), population (e.g., low income or Medicaid eligible) or facilities (e.g., federally qualified health centers, or state or federal prisons).

NACHC Human Resources Support
The National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) is a resource for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and state or regional primary care associations (PCAs) on topics related to Human Resources Management. Click here to access resources.
