Meital Fried-Almog comes to CHCANYS with a background in teaching, training, research, and education. In her prior role as a Clinical Quality Specialist with the Primary Care Information Project, which is housed in the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Meital provided technical assistance and support to CHCs and hospital ambulatory facilities seeking to comply with the Meaningful Use EHR Incentive Program. Meital also co-led group trainings on the PCMH 2014 Standards and Guidelines, and provided remote support. In her current role with the QI team, Meital will provide technical assistance and best practice recommendations to CHCs in order to further their quality improvement efforts. Meital holds a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health Education from the CUNY School of Public Health at Hunter College.
