Join the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Empire Liver Foundation to learn about treatment and management of chronic liver disease and discuss the unique challenges faced in New York State. Participants will learn how to:
- demonstrate knowledge of evaluation of liver disease and the benefits of linkage to care through a multi-specialty approach, aimed at improving performance in practice
- define and recognize appropriate management for HCV and liver disease treatment
- apply knowledge regarding advances in the effective and safe treatment and management of HCV
- compare different medications and formulate treatment plans based on known effectiveness of therapies
