The New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (NYAPRS) invites you to register for their Annual Executive Seminar, which will highlight presentations that prepare for two big policy movements capturing everyone’s attention for the coming year: the BH transition in managed care and the DSRIP implementation through the 1115 waiver. Elizabeth Swain will represent CHCANYS as part of a plenary session entitled "New Partnerships to Maximize Opportunities within the Medicaid Waiver."

Leading this year’s seminar are nationally acclaimed experts in health and behavioral health innovations Drs. Jeffrey Brenner and Peggy Swarbrick, along with Linda Rosenberg, President and CEO of the National Council of Behavioral Health. The seminar will also feature a panel presentation by Deputy Secretary for Health Courtney Burke, Medicaid Director Jason Helgerson, OMH Commissioner Ann Marie Sullivan, OASAS Commissioner Arlene González-Sánchez and key implementation leaders DOH’s Greg Allen, OMH’s Bob Myers and OASAS’ Rob Kent, who will be providing clarifications and next steps guidance on the status and impact of the enacted state budget and the health home and HARP initiatives.

Seminar participants are invited to a Networking Reception at 5:30 p.m., which will host CEOs and senior managers of New York's behavioral health agencies and will be a great opportunity to meet professionals in the regions you serve.
