New York State Health Commissioner, Nirav R. Shah, M.D., M.P.H. will convene a population health summit on December 3, 2013 to bring together state and national leaders to learn about the role public health and other sectors play in improving population health. Dr. Shah will be joined by Thomas R. Frieden, M.D., M.P.H., director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Thomas Farley, M.D., M.P.H., New York City Health Commissioner, Jeffrey Levi, Ph.D., executive director, Trust for America's Health, and Jo Ivey Boufford, M.D., president, New York Academy of Medicine.
