Note: Only AACN member schools may participate in this AACN Faculty Webinar. This webinar will provide participants with an overview of compelling access, workforce, and health disparities issues related to oral health and its link to overall health problems such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and cancer (IOM, 2011; Healthy People 2020). The presenters will provide strategies and resources for faculty to use in integrating oral health competencies and content in graduate programs. Strategies will also be relevant to engaging learners from different professions in innovative, inter-professional, oral-systemic health teaching learning experiences that use technology to promote collaborative practice.
