Designed for clinicians who diagnose, treat and manage persons with latent TB infection and TB disease, this workshopwill providecomprehensive information on the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, including special situations that impact the management of TB. Specific topics to be discussed include: transmission and pathogenesis; diagnosis and treatment; infection control; drug resistance; TB-HIV co-infection; TB in children and adolescents; and key aspects of patient management.
