In partnership with Americares, CHCANYS is excited to announce the launch of the Emergency Preparedness Bootcamp program. This two-day intensive training and workshop was designed to dramatically accelerate participating health centers’ emergency management programs and increase compliance with the CMS Emergency Preparedness Rule(effective November 17, 2016), as well as HRSA expectations, i.e. HRSA PIN 2007-15.
The Bootcamp will focus on specific program activities that would benefit from the hands-on assistance of emergency management professionals. Attendees will return to their health centers well equipped with the information and tools needed to successfully implement required program elements such as the hazard vulnerability assessment; policies and procedures; and training and exercise programs. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Due to the format of the Bootcamp program, space is limited to 5-10 health centers and each participating health center will be required to commit a minimum of three (3) staff members to attend. CHCANYS will work with Americares to select health centers based on pre-determined criteria. If your health center is interested in participating, please complete this form and return to CHCANYS no later than November 1, 2016.
