The Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS) is excited to announce two upcoming Emergency Preparedness (EP) training sessions for all CHCANYS members. CHCANYS has partnered with the Yale-New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response to provide our members with two regional Emergency Preparedness training opportunities customized to meet the needs of Greater New York State Community Health Centers.

Your participation and that of your staff in one of these two training sessions is strongly encouraged. The training will include information related to:

• Potential public health emergencies
• Hazard Vulnerability Analyses
• Elements of an EP Plan
• Personal Protective Equipment and Decontamination
• The “DISASTER” Paradigm 
• Reinforcement Activity

We need everyone’s cooperation to make these successful regional meetings!
