Webinar: Highly Pathogenic Infectious Disease Exercise Planning for Regional Transport
Presented by the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange (ASPR TRACIE) in collaboration with the National Ebola Training and Education Center (NETEC), this webinar will highlight exercise templates designed to test regional plans for the transport of patients under investigation for a highly pathogenic infectious disease. National Healthcare Preparedness Programs (NHPP)'s Dr. Rick Hunt will serve as the master of ceremony. Dr. Syra Madad and Dr. Nick Cuglioso from New York City Health + Hospitals will provide an overview on exercises and the templates developed by NETEC with ASPR’s support. Other speakers include Dr. Brian Garibaldi and Shawn Brast from Johns Hopkins, Lori Upton from the SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council, Andrea Esp from Washoe County, Nevada, Jeff Quinn and Wendy Pagan from the Southern Nevada Health District will share insights from recent exercises they conducted.
