CDC Webinar to Offer Panoramic Look at Nation's Largest Supply of Critical Medicines and Supplies

Hosted by: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Strategic National Stockpile
This webinar will introduce public health partners to the nation’s largest supply of life-saving pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for use in a public health emergency severe enough to cause local supplies to run out. The goal of the presentation is to help new and existing public health partners better understand the purpose and mission of the stockpile, the factors and various federal workgroups and agencies that determine which items to include in the stockpile, and the three major preparedness and response capabilities of the stockpile.  The webinar is open to all state, local, tribal, and territorial public health partners, including nurses, physicians, emergency planners, volunteers, and general public health staff.
