Patient and physician feedback and literature reports suggest that the transition from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) to dialysis can be eased by enlightened management of both CKD and dialysis patients. This symposium is designed to improve knowledge, competence and performance of US Nephrologists, Dialysis Care Providers (Administrators, Physician Assistants (PA), Nurse Practitioners (NP) Registered Nurses (RN), Patient Care Technician’s (PCT), and Machine Care Technicians (MCT) in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of the dialysis patient.
