Program Summary
As part of the Oncology Education Series this program is designed to bring the latest in Cancer Screening &
Prevention to primary care providers providing evidenced based guidelines and tools to determine risk level,
increase screening and identify options for the evaluation of high-risk patients.

Program Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

• Discuss evidenced based guidelines for cancer screening and early detection in average and high-risk
  individuals.
• Describe and implement current cervical cancer screening guidelines.
• Describe and use available tools for colon cancer screening.
• Recognize individuals at high-risk for breast, ovarian and colon cancers.
• Discuss the role of genetic counseling in evaluating individuals at high risk for hereditary cancers.
