The webinar will provide an overview of the different types of debt financing available to community health centers seeking to expand, purchase, or construct new facilities, or supplement or bridge capital grant funding. Featuring presenters from LIIF and Capital Impact Partners, two national nonprofit community development financial institutions (CDFIs) that together have provided financing to community health centers for several decades, the webinar will review basic lending and underwriting guidelines in order to help attendees to better understand how much debt a health center can expect to raise, which source of financing best fits certain projects, and what to expect during the review of a loan application. The presentation will also cover typical project milestones and timelines to assist health centers in their financing preparations. Topics will include broad discussions of real estate loans, New Markets Tax Credits, and bridge loans. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
