The theme of this year’s event is “Health Behaviors of African Immigrants and Refugees: Rethinking Integration, Challenges and Empowerment.” Building on the successes of previous USCAIH conferences,  USCAIH 2016 will bring together members of the community, health researchers, academics, public health workers, advocates, provider and community organizers to shed light on, enhance and advance the body of scholarship, best-practices and expertise in the increasingly complex field of African immigrant and refugee health
