Advocacy Day 2019

Registration
On March 4, 2019, community, homeless and migrant health center advocates – board members, staff, and patients – from across New York State will travel to Albany to meet with legislators and tell them how much their communities depend on Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) for high quality, affordable primary care services. Register here. If you are registering a group from your organization you can download a bulk registration form here. To download the agenda, click here.

Dorothy Kartashevich Consumer Award
Named in honor of Dorothy Kartashevich, a Sunset Park Health Center Network board member from 1987 to 1990 and a CHCANYS board member from 1984 to 1988, the award will be given to a consumer board member who, for at least three years, has worked tirelessly on his or her center's behalf. This award recognizes that the backbone of the community health movement are the consumer-run boards that guide individual FQHCs. Nominate someone here. Nominations due February 4, 2019.
