Open Door Family Medical Centers, is seeking a motivated team player with excellent customer skills to serve as a Breastfeeding Coordinator / Site Coordinator / CPA. The Breastfeeding Coordinator / Site Coordinator / CPA will be located in Sleepy Hollow, New York and report to the WIC Program Director. The Breastfeeding Coordinator is responsible for promotion and support of breastfeeding activities at all sites within the agency and planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program (PCP).

Responsibilities

• Major Duties – Provides leadership to the WIC Breastfeeding and Nutrition Program. Oversee and monitor site operations. Performs individual participant -centered nutrition assessments and facilitate participant centered group discussions, making necessary referrals for all program participants.
•  Assists with development and implementation of statewide and local agency goals and initiatives for the breastfeeding and nutrition program.  

Experience / Requirements

•  Registered Dietitian or any one of the following: Bachelors, Masters or PhD in nutrition, Registered Nurse (RN), with a Masters and a minimum of six credit hours in nutrition
