This year, Open Door will be ushering our patients into a more convenient technology based Communications World. Open Door is seeking a Patient Portal Customer Service Representative at its Family Medical Center in Ossining and Port Chester locations This position will promote, educate, and assist patient’s in self registration, Patient Portal sign up, and navigating our Patient Portal. This position will report to the Practice Administration Operations Manager and will be based in Ossining and Port Chester NY.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and respectfully at all times
• Encourages and invite patients to register using our Kiosk Stations
• Assist patients in any questions or complications in operating the Kiosk
• Introduce Patient Web Portal to our patients and respectfully convincing them to enroll.
• Assist patients in logging into the portal and demonstrating how to navigate in a friendly non-judgmental setting.
• Complete the Portal Registration Process
• Provide consistent excellent customer service to patients with an enthusiastic and empathetic approach.

• Participate in meetings and give feedback and suggestions on how to improve our Patient Portal Experience.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times as per HIPAA and Open Door policies and procedures.
• Meet weekly target goals for number of patients enrolled
• Maintain professionalism with Open Door staff and patients.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual (Proficiently Fluent in Spanish and English)
• 2 years Customer Service experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse patient and staff environment
• Ability to work in a collaborative team-based care environment
• Highly organized, flexible, and self-directed, able to multi-task
• Responsive and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent judgment skills and ability to prioritize tasks
