JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Improvement Coordinator plays a central role in the Quality Assurance Department. The Quality Improvement Coordinator will be responsible for reporting metrics for clinical data involving: Patient Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use, UDS, DSRIP, etc., while conducting weekly meetings with practice managers and healthcare staff. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment where the first concern is meeting all regulations of Quality Assurance/Quality Incentive reporting required by HRSA and FTCA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the Patient Centered Medical Home program, ensuring that our health center is meeting all requirements and running appropriate reports, as necessary.
- Responsible for all Patient Centered Medical Home re-certification, as necessary.
- Maintains Meaningful Use incentive program and is responsible for program submission.
- Responsible for clinical data section of the UDS report.
- Responsible for managing the DSRIP program reporting and audits.
- Maintains incentive programs from different Managed Care Organizations, ensures that our health center is meeting all requirements for success of these programs.
- Tracks and maintains a variety of clinical data and benchmarking results; prepares standard and ad hoc reports.
- Oversees the peer review program and ensures compliance with record review.
- Provides support to the Quality Assurance Committee, as necessary. Creates agenda, maintains minutes, and follow-up on any outstanding items.
- Responsible to meet all regulations of Quality Assurance/Quality Incentive plan required by HRSA and FTCA as appropriate.
- Supports the individual departments in their respective internal Quality Incentive goals.
- Conducts reporting metrics through Electronic Medical Records/eClinical Works.
- Other duties, as required to support the Quality Incentive Program at our health center.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in health administration or public health preferred.
- Prior quality improvement experience in health care preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation Range: $50,000 to $65,000 Compensation Type: Hourly Travel Desired: Some Travel
