Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. is a comprehensive network of community health centers.  We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides Article 16 and 28 clinic services at 8 locations across Suffolk County, New York.  We provide services that include Primary and Specialty Medical Care, Dental, Behavioral Health, Audiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology to low-income, uninsured and under insured patients.  We currently provide care to over 7,000 patients and have annual operating revenue of $17m.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree (Healthcare, Human Services or Management)
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership experience
• Experience in FQHC preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate competence and success in managing outcomes, operational results, financial operations, business planning and development

Knowledge:

• Must have in depth working knowledge of healthcare administration, operations, financial management, strategic planning, physician relations, patient care, quality assessment and improvement and human resource management
• Must have solid working knowledge of applicable laws, operating guidelines, and requirements of accrediting bodies
• Must have a firm understanding of the trends and issues affecting healthcare industry, including managed care and quality outcomes

Skills:

• Must have well developed interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and public speaking)
• Must have demonstrated skills in leadership, conflict identification and resolution, group problem solving as well as prioritization
• Must be a champion of quality service and customer service
