REGISTERED NURSE – TRIAGE

**SIGN-ON BONUS**

Hometown Health Centers, a federally qualified community health center, is seeking applications for  a Registered Nurse in our Triage Unit.  The triage nurse will work in collaboration and cooperation with members of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team,.  The triage nurse will provide professional, safe and effective nursing care to patients by telephone or vsual triage. 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Registered Nurse with a current, unrestricted NYS license.
• Current BLS Certification. 

EXPERIENCE / TRAINING: 

• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in outpatient care or emergency nursing preferred.
• Experience with prenatal patients and children preferred.
• Familiarity with computers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
• Experience in patient and staff education.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
