Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Medical Director of the East Harlem Council for Human Services (EHCHS), the Associate Medical Director oversees the clinical activities that fall within his or her scope of practice, and the activities of other programs of the EHCHS.
Qualifications: Graduate of approved medical or osteopathy school. Completion of approved residency. New York State License. DEA Registration. Infection Control Certificate. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate. Board Certified. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Supervisory experience required. Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of principles and practices of medicine. Knowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home Principles. In-depth knowledge of electronic health records. Ability to work both independently and to collaborate with teams of individuals. Excellent inter-personal and relationship management skills. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
