Develop, recommend and implement policies and procedures governing patient care in accordance with generally accepted standards of professional practice. Conduct annual review of medical policies and ensure annual review of dental and behavioral health policies. Development, implementation and monitoring of SCHC’s Quality Improvement Program. Oversees Credentialing/re-credentialing process. Works closely with Provider Relations, Human Resources and Service Chiefs in recruitment and retention of providers. Provides operational guidance and oversight for all clinical services and programs. The following areas/programs report directly to this position: All clinical program/service Chiefs, Nursing, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement.

Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy required as well as board eligibility or certification in chosen clinical specialty or area. Master’s degree in Business, Public Health preferred. Seven to 10 years of health care leadership experience, preferably in a health care setting required.

Federally qualified health center (FQHC) experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical, management and supervisory experience required. Solid problem-solving and organization skills as well as oral and written communication skills required.
