Rochester Regional Health’s Healthcare for the Homeless program at Unity Hospital is actively seeking Primary Care physicians to join our team. Providing quality comprehensive primary medical care to the homeless persons in the city of Rochester, we seek to improve access to patients, while simultaneously affording each individual access to services needed to obtain gainful employment, permanent housing and other resources that may be beneficial to their individual situation, without regard to the individual’s ability to pay. In addition to our traditional health clinic, we provide medical services at our area homeless shelters and through our state of the art Mobile Medical Unit. Minimum Qualifications: • M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree that is acceptable to NYS Department of Education • Completion of specialty residency, subspecialty or post-residency training as applicable
Required Licensure / Certification Skills: • Current license to practice in state of New York • Board certified or eligible within five (5) years of hire (except as noted in the medical staff by-laws) • Maintenance of required continuing medical education • Maintenance of credentialing as required by relevant medical staff by-laws • Maintenance of credentialing as required to participate with third party payers
