Position Description:
The Internist provides comprehensive medical services for members of family, regardless of age or sex, on a continuing basis. The Internist examines patients, obtains medical histories and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
The Internist utilizes resources, human and fiscal, to achieve goals by implementing and evaluating clinically effective and efficient systems of care and service, that lead to increasingly positive outcomes and opportunities for patients.
The Internist positively supports MHHC’s core values, vision and mission to ensure that the organization’s goals and objectives are met.
This position reports to the Director of Internal Medicine.

EDUCATION
|
Medical Degree from a medical college approved by the American Medical Association
|
|
|
EXPERIENCE
|
Completed internship and residency training from an approved medical facility
2 or more years experience as a Family Practitioner is preferred
|

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
|
Must have a valid New York State license
Board certified or board eligible by specialty board
Must have Infection Control certification by a State approved facility
Must have current copy of DEA certificate
CPR/BLS certification
