Plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of patient centered quality care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and patient care standards. Creates a standard for nursing excellence. Minimum of five years of increasing levels of experience managing a multi-service health care agency, program development, and budget management. Culturally competent and experience with ethnically diverse populations and related issues. Knowledge of local and regional health care industry preferred. Experience with performance improvement, data retrieval, statistics, forms design and quality improvement techniques. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and thorough knowledge of PCMH, Joint Commission and NYS DOH standards. Preferred candidates will have experience working in an Ambulatory Care setting. Master’s Degree preferred.
