Responsibilities: The Clinical Quality Analyst serves as the bridge, between the informatics, clinical and administrative departments, to promote quality care. The Clinical Quality Analyst uses data generated from the electronic medical record and other sources to implement and continuously maintain systems and processes to improve the quality of care rendered to the patients of the East Harlem Council for Human Services, Inc. Boriken Health Center and its School Health Program (Boriken).
Qualifications: Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 1 year of Quality Improvement experience in addition to 4 years of clinical experience. Proficiency with eClinicalWorks. Super-user preferred. Experience in quality improvement or program coordination. Excellent data analysis skills, basic understanding of statistics, program evaluation methods, and program planning tools/methods. Experience in a community-based health center or FQHC setting preferred. Ability to take the initiative and utilize innovative techniques. Experience in producing clinical report documents from source databases. Ability to work with a diverse group of clinical, administrative and executive staff members. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent communications skills, including writing and presentation skills. Ability to work in a dynamically changing environment with competing priorities. Obtain and/or maintain current proficiency the EMR through continued education/learning.
