On December 10, 2018, CHCANYS submitted comments on the Trump Administration’s proposed changes to the Public Charge rule. A person who is considered to be a public charge may be denied admission to the US or lawful permanent resident (green card) status.
CHCANYS expressed grave concerns with the proposed changes to the public charge determination. To read the letter, click here.
