The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) will be holding public hearings throughout the state next week to present its plan for its Medicaid 1115 Waiver.
New York State has requested approval to implement the Waiver over five years, through 2019, and is currently in negotiations with CMS over the details, including the specifics of the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) plan. Once implemented, the Waiver will allow New York to reinvest federal savings generated by the Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) reform initiatives into the transformation of the state’s health care system.
The public hearing schedule appears below. Pre-registration is not required. Speakers will be asked to register onsite and will be given two minutes to ask questions or provide comments.
