On July 10, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced $7,243,005 in grant awards to 56 health centers statewide to enroll uninsured New Yorkers in new health coverage options made available by the Affordable Care Act. These funds will enable health centers to educate consumers about their coverage options, determine their eligibility, including the availability of financial assistance, and enroll them in the appropriate plans.
