Access is the Answer “Tsunami Week” Results Thanks to all those who e-mailed their Members of Congress during Access is the Answer “Tsunami Week” on October 27-31. New York ranked third in the nation for total number of advocates participating in this coordinated e-mail push urging Congress to fix the primary care funding cliff during the lame duck session. Congress returns to the Hill this week, and NACHC will continue to monitor the situation closely in the event that an opportunity arises to move on this issue before the end of the calendar year. In the meantime, there are a number of additional steps that all advocates are being asked to take as part of the fight to preserve federal funding for health centers. It will take strong and consistent effort from every one of us in order to convince Congress to make the funding cliff a priority now. Click here to find out what you can do to help.
