Update: DSRIP PPS Plan Application and Scoring Guide Public comments on the draft DSRIP PPS Plan Application and Scoring Guide were due to the NYS Department of Health on Wednesday, October 29. In addition to a preliminary summary of the key application components, CHCANYS has prepared a more detailed chart identifying important considerations for FQHCs. These documents will be updated periodically, so please check back often. The comments submitted by CHCANYS on behalf of New York’s FQHCs may be viewed here.

Public Hearings on Single Payer Health Coverage Bill Scheduled A series of public hearings on New York Health, the universal "single payer" health coverage bill sponsored by Assembly Health Committee Chair Richard Gottfried and Senator Bill Perkins, will take place in the coming weeks. New York Health would replace current insurance company coverage, premiums, deductibles, co-pays, limited provider networks and out-of-network charges, providing comprehensive, universal health coverage for every New Yorker with a benefit package more comprehensive than commercial or other health plans. read more >>
