QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

The featured plenary at the NYS Oral Health Coalition’s 2018 Annual Meeting, How Oral Health Can Change the World: Improving the Well-Being of Children and Families Through System Redesign, will explore how oral health can play a larger role in ensuring all children and families have the opportunity to succeed in life and examine how systems redesign, including payment reform, measurement and evidence-based decision making, and collaborative action across sectors, can unleash new and innovative ways to care for patients.  Other presentations will include an Oral Health Update from the NYS Dept. of Health, Trends and Innovation in the Oral Health Workforce by the Oral Health Workforce Research Center, School of Public Health, SUNY Albany and Understanding the Opioid Epidemic by Linda Vidone, DMD, Vice President Clinical Management and Sr. Dental Director, DentaQuest.
