Presented by: Robert Martiniano, DrPH, MPA, Senior Program Manager, Center for Health Workforce Studies In collaboration with the NYS Dept. of Health, the Center for Health Workforce Studies developed a statewide set of Medicaid-based rational service areas (Medicaid RSAs) based on the commuting patterns of Medicaid patients from their places of residence to their providers. This webinar will describe the approach used to develop and assess Medicaid RSAs, including information about the demographic and health care indicators used to identify the RSAs with the highest need.
